Privacy Policy for FeelClear (App)

1) What this policy covers

This policy applies to the FeelClear mobile app ("FeelClear," "we," "us"). It explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2) Information you share with us

We collect only what we need to run the app and personalize your experience.

Account & identity (optional)

  • Sign in with Apple: If you sign in, we receive your Apple ID email address and name (as provided by Apple). We use this to authenticate and keep your data synced.

Preferences & profile

  • Preferred name and gender: Used to personalize language in your sessions.
  • Session preferences: Duration, tone/persona, voice choice, and practice settings.

Voice and text you provide

  • Voice recordings: Used to transcribe your request and create a session.
  • Transcripts and text input: Used to generate your practice and keep session history.

3) Information we collect automatically

  • Usage data: Which features you use and how long sessions last.
  • Diagnostics: Crash reports and performance data. If you're signed in, these may be associated with your account to help support and debugging.
  • Device info: App version, OS version, and language settings.

4) How we use your information

We use your data to:

  1. Create personalized practices and audio guidance.
  2. Remember your preferences.
  3. Improve app quality and fix issues.
  4. Keep your data safe and your account working.

5) AI data sharing and consent

FeelClear uses trusted AI services to generate sessions and voice guidance. We ask for your explicit consent before sharing any data with these providers.

You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy > AI Data Sharing. If you turn it off, features that require AI (voice transcription and personalized generation) will be unavailable.

Data shared with AI providers (with your consent)

  • Voice recordings (for transcription)
  • Transcripts / text input
  • Session context and preferences
  • Preferred name or gender (if used in prompts)

6) Third-party services (processors)

We use the following vendors to run the app:

  • OpenAI (GPT for text generation, Whisper for transcription)
  • ElevenLabs (voice synthesis)
  • Supabase (secure storage and edge functions)
  • Sentry (error monitoring)
  • Apple (Sign in with Apple authentication)

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.

7) Data storage and retention

  • Voice recordings: Processed for transcription. We do not store them on our servers. The app deletes the local recording file immediately after the transcription attempt completes.
  • Transcripts and session history: Stored locally on your device and, if you're signed in, synced to our servers.
  • Diagnostics: Retained only as long as needed for debugging and stability.

8) What we do not collect

We do not collect:

  • Precise location
  • Contacts
  • Advertising identifiers
  • Photos or media from your device

We do not sell your personal information.

9) Your choices and controls

You can:

  • Turn AI data sharing on/off in Settings.
  • Clear local data in Settings (Data Management).
  • Delete the app to remove local data.
  • Contact us to delete synced data.

10) Children's privacy

FeelClear is not intended for children under 16 (or under 13 in the U.S.). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11) International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We use appropriate safeguards where required.

12) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top.

Apple App Store Privacy Summary

  • Data linked to you: Account identifiers (email), preferences, session history, user content (voice/text) when AI is enabled, and diagnostics when available.
  • Data not linked to you: Aggregated usage insights.
  • Tracking: We do not track you across apps or websites.
